Growing crops in the south

Drawing from the ethical issues and lessons of the course (i.e., from course readings and discussions), write a position paper on whether genetically modified crops ought to be grown in the United States based on a thoughtful analysis and assessment of the two sides of the debate presented here: http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/harvest/exist/arguments.html. On the webpage you will see a series of twelve arguments that oscillate back-and-forth from con- and pro-positions. You may disregard the headings: “If you said yes…,” “if you said no…,” etc. What’s important is that the arguments build upon one another—from basic to more sophisticated points.
