This week we have learned that a company needs to decide whether and how to adapt its marketing mix strategy to the foreign markets it expands to. For its promotion strategy, a US based company needs to decide whether to use the same advertising campaign or create new ads. For this blog post, please compare an ad for the US market and an ad for the same brand from one other country market. You can find ads from other countries on Youtube.
Provide a short description of each ad and discuss a) the extent this reflects a standardized or adapted strategy, b) why you think the company made this choice based on differences and similarities between the US and the country for which the second ad was used, and c) whether or not you think this was a reasonable decision.
