This site offers a list of different types of private foundation grants
The government offers two kinds of grants, including categorical and block grants. Examples of categorical grants include highway programs and education grants. The three types of block grants include project, formula, and matching grants. These grants offer funding for eligible activities identified through legislation. On the other hand, private foundation grants include funding for start-up costs and specific program support. Other types include capital grants, general support, and scholarships. They also involve all the grants delivered to public institutions such as churches and other cultural institutions.
