What communication skills do you have that may hinder your ability to gather information? What can you do to overcome these?
Interviewing people is one of the most complicated tasks because one has to prepare to deal with different personalities. While it is always exciting, it can also be frustrating when interviewees are not ready to provide information. As an interviewer, some of the communication skills required include non-verbal and verbal techniques. Interviewers also need to be friendly, brave, respectful, empathetic, and with good listening skills. Some of the problems that might derail this process involve asking the wrong questions and being biased during the process.
