Provide three evidence‐based examples that demonstrate how the nursing theory supports nursing practice. Provide support and rationale for each.
The theory of interpersonal relations is often applied by nurses in different settings, including the orientation, identification, exploitation, and resolution stages. In most cases, nurses have to engage patients, thus, showing this theory at work. On the other hand, the self-care nursing theory is seen when nurses take action to take care of patients or when they offer guidance to these people. Finally, Leininger’s culture care theory is vital in health and prosperity practices. Before treatment, nurses must take into consideration the worldview of patients before delivering care.
