1.What are your viewpoints about the misconceptions about Teaching Reading and Misconceptions about Teaching Writing ?
The misconception about teaching reading is that the process is a meaning-based activity that should begin with instruction. However, most readers, even young ones, know the meaning of most words. They only need teaching on how these words are coded in written form. On the other hand, the common myth surrounding teaching writing is that teachers must grade everything students write. Research has shown that students should write four times the amount of materials teachers can grade.
