You are the head trainer for a global organization. Executive leadership has asked you to design and deliver a training program for the organization’s mid-senior level managers. The content of this training program is to guide managers on how to effectively work on global work teams. One of the major outcomes for this training is that it will equip managers with the necessary tools to efficiently work and lead global teams.
The organization does much business in all seven emerging markets such as India, China, Mexico, Brazil, Turkey, Indonesia, and Russia. As a result, each manager leads a team in any one of these markets at any given time.
As you develop your training, consider skills the manager will need to engage and work with teams that are culturally diverse.

The organization must establish a sense of belonging for all these managers to bring their best selves forward. Moreover, the company must also use a D&I program that will allow these managers to show empathy in their operations. The firm must also understand that a top-down approach alone is not enough. Moreover, using quotas to employ individuals does not automatically amount to inclusion. They must also understand that inclusion is an ongoing process and not a one-off process.
