In traditional classrooms, the curriculum starts with the little aspects, while in a constructivist one, learning focuses on big concepts before expanding to the smaller details. Moreover, a traditional classroom strictly adheres to a fixed curriculum while a constructivist one primarily focuses on the needs of students. In traditional learning, students mainly use textbooks and workbooks as primary materials while in the constructivist classroom, learners rely mostly on hands-on activities.
