Part B: 1,000 words analysing your diversity example in relation to leadership theory
Consider this example of diversity in relation to leadership using theories from the course.
o Relate this example of ‘diversity’ to ideas of ‘leadership’.
o Engage with TWO specific conceptualisations of leadership presented in the textbook
chapters: Leader, Follower, Process, Performance, Place, Purpose, Future Leadership
(see chapter titles and engage with ideas from TWO chapters in-depth to support your

conceptualisations of DIVERSITY AND LEADERSHIP together. The assignment should be
about the relationship between diversity and leadership as interlinked concepts.
Part C: 500 words personal reflection
Explain what you have learnt about how ‘diversity’ relates to ‘leadership’ and how this has
transformed your ideas of leadership and in what ways (if at all). Consider:
o What you think individuals could learn from your analysis to increase an understanding
of how ‘diversity’ relates to ‘leadership’.
o What you think organisations could learn from your analysis to increase an
understanding of how ‘diversity’ relates to ‘leadership’.
This assignment should be presented using headings and following APA referencing style
The textbook MUST be cited and referenced in this assignment, and you will need to engage
with the textbook readings to pass this assignment.
You can check the suitability of your media source (Part A) and suitability of your two specific
conceptualisations of leadership theory from the textbook (Part B) during workshop sessions.
