Critically discuss the relationship between knowledge and innovation. Analyse the
inevitable trade-off between designing and managing an organization that can be
innovative and designing and managing an organization that is efficient. In doing this you
should also consider the potential positive and negative consequences of different organizational
forms and management approaches for employees, organizations and society at large. Illustrate
your answer with examples drawn from the cases in the core text (e.g. ScienceCo, Buckman Lab
etc.) and use the literature that was covered in the module.
The essay should be 2,000 words (excluding references), should employ
